Jackson’s two rushing TDs contributed heavily to Baltimore’s come-from-behind win, including a short run where he somersaulted into the end zone.
Those runs contributed to him reaching that 100-yard mark on the evening, tying him with Michael Vick for the most 100-yard rushing games (11) by a quarterback, according to ESPN.
Jackson is no stranger to setting major NFL milestones. As Sports Illustrated reminded us back in January, the dynamic gunslinger is the only quarterback in league history to produce at least 3,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards in a single season. The 1,206 rushing yards he posted during his 2019 MVP season are the most by a quarterback in single-season history.
Sunday’s victory also marked the first time in Jackson’s career that he has rebounded from an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit. His largest comeback prior to that was three points in a 2019 game against the Steelers, according to ESPN.
Through the first two weeks of the 2021 season, Jackson ranks third in the league with 193 rushing yards. The Ravens as a whole rank third overall in the league with 443.5 yards per game heading into Week 3.
